Thanks to those who have let us know how you think about the choice between restoring the hanging sanctuary lamb for at least £4000 and a wall mounted Sanctuary Lamp for around £1000. It would be good to make a few things clear:
The hanging lamp is not original (we think it was installed in Fr. Sandy’s time).
We can see where the original bracket was for the wall mounted lamp.
There is no guarantee that we can get someone to install the hanging lamp or repair it if it fails again.
